Located in Northern Portugal, Manuel da
Costa Carvalho Lima & Filhos Lda. bears
the name of its founder who, together
with his sons, officially established the
Innovation and differentiation, blended
with traditional values of winemaking,
have always been the secret for the pro-
gress of this family business.
In 2005 the company invested in a state-
of-the-art winery which prompted the
creation of new and singular wines.
Operating from the village of Várzea
Cova, where it all began, the company
embraced the third generation in 2007.

years is an internationalization focused
The brand “Norte” was developed to ce-
lebrate the northern region of Portugal
– cradle of the country, so well known
for the hospitality of its people and the
romantic landscapes. It was here that Vi-
nho Verde was born, light and fruity, of
which Norte wine is an excellent symbol.
The White Vinho Verde Norte is a fresh
and young wine, pale citric in color with
fruit on the nose and a delicate and re-
freshing trace on the mouth with a crispy
bending. This wine goes well as an aperitif
or with fish and salads. Should be consu-
med young at a temperature of 6º - 8ºC.
